Update

Hey Everybody, I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to take a brief moment to update you on our lives and also to direct you to an album page where you can few some new photos. I have found that while this blog site is very good with design and such, they are lacking in their photo upload program (which is one reason why I suck at making new entries... I don't want to have to spend hours uploading). So I am going to try something new. I am going to write in this space and then give you a link to the photos.

As far as things going on with us... let's go person by person:

Eva: She has but her first tooth, it is her bottom front left tooth. She is a crawl sprinter and can go super fast. She loves her sister and all of the toys strewn about our living room. She is exceedingly happy and enjoying the new taste sensations that she gets daily. The girl is a garbage disposal and just keeps eating!

Maddie: Maddie is as rambunctious as ever. She is amazing some days (very polite, loving, etc) and other days she is a tornado (impatient, controlling, destructive). So we just take things a day at a time. We are still slogging through potty training with little success but give it time and it'll work out. Other than that she loves Kai Lan and Disney Princesses and keeps herself busy by getting into trouble!

Courtney: Courtney is doing very well and is still working her booty off delivering babies. She was working the day shift for the past long while but is now switching to nights... should be interesting with our schedules. Other than that she is just enjoying nursing Eva and spending time with her familia.

Me: Not sure if I even let you all know this but I am now a full time instructor at San Joaquin Valley College and I teach GEs and Business. It is a new challenge for me but I am loving it so far. The biggest change has been my work schedule... I work from 3:00-10:15 now. But it works with the fact that I am a natural night owl. Other than that I am just loving spending time with the fam!

More Comings and Goings and Disney on Ice!

The last post for now and I'll be all caught up on the Carter news. Some other things that have been going on in the Carter Family... Eva is now sitting up on her own! She can't go from laying to sitting but can hold herself up once placed in a seated position. I'll tell the story as we go through the pictures...

Eva loves to GRAB EVERYTHING! She particularly likes to take the things she grabs and put them right into her mouth. She was obsessed with cereal boxes for some time.

The weekend after we went to Disneyland we got to go to Disney on Ice! It was basically all of the "classic" Disney movies told in ballet/ice skating fashion. It was very cool and Maddie loved it but it got a little long for her. We should have left at the intermission and called it good because Maddie and Eva got squirmy during the second half.

DISNEYLAND!!!

Courtney had a complete weekend off and I took Friday off so that we could take a semi-spontaneous trip to Disneyland! We stayed at the Anaheim Hilton for two nights and went to Disneyland and California Adventure as well as downtown Disney! Aside from being ridiculously hot and hard on the feet, we had a blast! As you can imagine, Maddie loved it! Eva... she didn't really care! Haha. Maddie's favorite part? MEETING THE DISNEY PRINCESSES!

The evening we went down we ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Maddie loved the periodic thunderstorms inside the restaurant as well as all of the creatures all of the walls.
