Snow, Snow, Everywhere SNOW!
Well Gang,
It wasn't baby's first snow day but it was the first BIG snow day! All other snow has simply melted during the day but seeing as the temperature is sub zero, I think it is going to stick around for awhile!
Anyway, so last night Courtney had a 12 hour clinical (from 7pm-7am) and our truck was stuck! Wyoming is known for its wind and the wind and the snow causes HUGE snow drifts in some places and you can still see the grass in other places. Well, the area that we park is known for snow drifts and yesterday was no exception with 3-5 ft drifts blocking us in. It took 15 minutes of a constant back and forth hardcore plow effort to finally push through the snow but I was able to "un-stick" our truck and Court got to clinicals alright. Baby, however, decided that since mama wasn't here that it was going to be a late night. So after a one hour nap from 9-10 she woke up and we ended up hanging out till 2:30, when she finally tanked. Unfortunately she also woke up at 6:45 and decided she wanted to be awake till noon... so Daddy didn't get a lot of sleep... oh well.
Now, onto the pictures!

A long time coming...
Ok, so basically I'm just going to be honest and say that I really haven't been motivated to write. It has been a tough transition back into the daily grind and it has been hard to find time to update.
So a quick update, we spent some time with my family in Mission Viejo and played games on New Years and just really enjoyed some time with my family. Maddie really liked hanging out with my family and they seemed to feel the same way. We then drove back up to Tulare so that we could fly out in Fresno. On the day before we were to leave Courtney and her family decided that she should stay for a week to attend to some family matters (and they wanted to see Maddie for longer). So I came home and got ready for the new semester! A week later I picked Courtney up... and how Maddie had grown!!
Here is what is up with Maddie right now... she rolls over with no problem to her left. She holds her head up when on her stomach and can even look at the TV when on her stomach. She has been started on rice cereal stuff that she didn't really like. She loves to suck on cups and put everything in her mouth. She has tremendous dexterity in her hands and can grasp most things. Our pastor's wife fed her some ice cream which she LOVED and cried when she couldn't get more. She is also in the middle of teething and her first tooth should be coming in shortly...
