Morro Bay...

A couple of weekends ago we decided to go to the coast so that Maddie could play in or near the ocean. We planned for a Sunday because there was supposed to be a break in the weather (as we have been having some rainy days lately). Unfortunately the weather man must have been on something because he got it totally wrong. It was overcast, windy, and cold... all around a yucky day... weather-wise.

We had a BLAST and so did Maddie. As you can tell from the pictures the Wildebaurs (minus "Aunt EEYA") came with us which was great when there was a crazy little toddler to keep an eye on... the more eyes the better. We went to the Morro Bay Aquarium and fed the rehabilitating sea lion and harbor seal, Maddie squealed the whole time. We also ate at a wonderful restaurant that had great food and EXCELLENT customer service. So much so that when Maddie was starting to go crazy the owner came over and asked if he could take her of a tour of the boardwalk. It was great, well worth a couple of extra bucks.

So after a day of fun we took a drive through wine country and saw some beautiful vineyards and headed home. Needless to say it was an awesome day trip. Enjoy the pictures!
