That's right folks, it is time to start potty training!! Maddie couldn't be more thrilled as she has begun to alert us by saying things like "pee" and "poop"... though usually it is after the fact but there is effort there! In order to encourage her to potty train we bought her a Maddie sized potty. She already rocks out on the toilet complete with books and when she is done she even wipes. Of course she has never deposited anything into the toilet yet, other than dry wipes... again the effort is there. Mama helps by sitting on the big toilet to teach her.
The only problem is getting her diaper back on her when she is done. She wouldn't let us last time and instead climbed up on the couch to watch Dora and proceeded to pee all over the couch.
But once again... the effort is there and that is all we can ask!
